ABS

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. The classic engineering plastic: withstands heat and impact, accepts post-processing.

Material ABS HDT 85–95 °C

Example part drawn layer by layer. The colour is illustrative and is not a material property.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask about ABS.

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp

How heat-resistant is ABS?
The typical HDT at 0.45 MPa is 85–95 °C, and the guide indicates functional parts with continuous use up to ~80 °C.
Is ABS kept in stock?
Yes. ABS is one of the four materials kept in stock (PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU 95A). Production takes 24 h to 96 h, depending on volume and material, and the minimum order is R$ 80, starting at 1 part.
How is ABS printed?
Nozzle at 240–260 °C and bed at 90–100 °C, in a closed chamber.
When should I avoid ABS?
Outdoor use without paint (yellows and embrittles with UV — see ASA). Very large, flat parts (warping risk). Contact with solvents such as acetone.
Are the ABS values guaranteed?
No. Real parts vary with orientation, infill, wall thickness and material condition, and the values are not guaranteed or certified. For critical applications (safety, structural load, food contact or medical use), validate the part in your application before series production.
